IR modification- to quote from my journal entry The Infrared Learning Curve [link] : "Take one point and shoot digital Kodak camera. Perform amateur filter-ectomy. Add one layer of CHEAP gel filter. Set white balance to FLUORESCENT! Voila! Digital Infrared for $50 Or LESS! There were a few other stages involved in my successful camera modification but, if I can do this, anyone can."
Thank you for commenting so specifically. It is ironic that the color should strike you, in that I shot this with my self-modified camera, and I have always had to struggle to get color values I was satisfied with from this camera.
It was as bright (and hot!) a day as I've ever shot on, and the post processing of this exposure fell right into place.
You're welcome! I try to be as specific as I can with comments becuase I don't really like the people who just comment "oh, pretty." and they don't say what's pretty about it. It annoys me. Aha. But I'm glad you got this shot, again, it's stunning! (: Welcome again!(:
